2021-08-14 Kamma – Leaving Pain and Misery for a Divine Abiding 48:47
Ajahn Sucitto
There is such a thing as good and evil and they give rise to fortunate or unfortunate consequences. Good and evil not as value judgments, but as particular energies that have consequences. The heart opens as a consequence of skillful energies, like generosity and love. This is the key to the celestial domains of the Sacred Cosmos, where gods are void of judgment and keen on Dhamma as a way to happiness.

Kate Munding
Dedication of Merit is a ritual found throughout the Buddhist community. This talk explores the deeper meaning and purpose of this practice. Merit is generated every time we sit down and the ritual of dedication reminds to connect outward to the world at large, to humans and the more than human world, in an act of generosity. Instructions for how to dedicate the merit is included, as well as a Q&A at the end.

Ayya Santussika, Ayya Cittananda
Just as the rivers flow into the sea | So what is given in generosity | Benefits the departed and all who you love | Like the moon waxing full shining brightly above | May all distress be averted | May all disease be destroyed | May no harm lie before you | And may long life bring you joy

2021-04-28 Walking the Path with Love in your Heart: Wise Action 46:24
Kate Munding
Wise action and livelihood: Part 5 of a series on the Eightfold Path. This part of the path is based in the concept of Sila (virtue) and is best understood as being in harmony with the truth and the nature of things through the practice of non-harming. Virtue can be seen as an act of generosity (Dana) and when we live a life of non-harming, we produce peace and ease and trust for others.

2021-04-10 Being a Person 27:12
Ajahn Sucitto
Although Dhamma practice is often geared to dissolving the sense of being a person, ‘the person’ is a required entity in the everyday world. The firm center and open awareness developed in Dhamma practice work together to support this person. They provide stability and allow duties, purpose and engagement to arise straight from the heart rather than from mental habits, or from the idea of a person. Then the beauties, steadiness and generosity of Dhamma practice and Dhamma fruitions arise in our everyday lives.
