Retreat Dharma Talks

In Our Best Interests

Supporting our best interests is not simple. We can get caught up in unhelpful ideas or live in an insensitive rush. This limits our freedom to see what could bring deeper happiness and draws us away from it. The Buddha’s compassionate teachings, on the other hand, welcome all beings into profound release. Although this freedom is unaffected by external circumstances, cultivating it takes wisdom and patience. However long it takes to reach full liberation, the journey itself is beautiful in the beginning, middle, and end.
