Letting In

We tend to focus on letting go, but have we let it in? Whether through social pressure or inner lack of confidence, what in this life are we not letting in?

The teachings suggest that we regularly remind ourselves of our vulnerability to sickness, ageing, loss and death. This is not to wallow in grief, but to taste the immediate relief of release in the least acknowledged aspects of our lives. We are all subject to them, they are natural. Denial creates more tension and pain.
