25th Anniversary of the Women’s Retreat

This year we celebrate the 25th gathering for the annual Women’s Retreat at IMS – a milestone in establishing the lineage of women in Western Buddhist practice. In the classical context of silence and sustained insight meditation practice, a powerful sense of community has been created that supports our capacity for deepening wisdom and compassion. There are daily talks, instructions, guided lovingkindness practice and meetings with the teachers.
