The fourth and fifth of the recollections:
Breathing gently, I lovingly remember that separation is part of life;
I am of the nature to experience loss.
Breathing gently, I lovingly remember to meet this moment with wisdom and care;
My actions are the ground upon which I stand.
The second and third of the recollections:
Breathing gently, I lovingly remember that sickness is part of life;
I am of the nature to have ill health.
Breathing gently, I lovingly remember that dying is part of life;
I am of the nature to die.
