Ramiro Ortega (1971 – 2026) was a much-loved teacher when he was diagnosed with cancer in 2025. He practised Buddhist meditation from 2005 and completed his training as a Dharma teacher with Bodhi College. He also taught mindfulness courses and retreats. Ramiro had a background in Western philosophy and was also a philosophical counsellor.
