If we are suffering it is because we are believing something that is not true. This talk explores the genesis of our core beliefs and the investigation, mindfulness and compassion that can release their grip.
Through practice, the heart flowers by integrating mindfulness and metta (loving kindness) and through turning toward our suffering with kind attention and loving acceptance.
Talk explores many doorways of investigating the te4achings on self and
no-self including developing a healthy sense of self.
the four S's of self
1. simple sense of self
2. solid sense of self
3. self-interested sense of self
4. social sense of self
There are two great proximate causes for compassion: suffering and wisdom. Suffering opens the heart and wisdom lets us see the fragile impermanent nature of all things.
