Diese Illusion entsteht durch das Anhaften an den fünf Khandhas (Daseinsgruppen), die Identifikation mit dem Körper, den Gefühlstönungen, der Wahrnehmung, den Willensregungen und dem Bewusstsein als 'ich', 'mein' oder 'mein Selbst'.
